KIDS’ SALSA & BACHATA CLASS

This class is aimed to introduce 9 – 14 year-olds to the technique, style, body movement, and fun of Salsa and Bachata. We primarily focus on solo dancing but may do a bit of partnering depending on class interest. In this class, students gain a foundational understanding of the basics of Latin dancing, listening to and interpreting the music, stretching as a dancer, and turn and styling technique to get kids hooked on and loving salsa and bachata as intro level dancers. Students also begin learning a choreography of either salsa or bachata.
